2019 Entertainment

Our sound system guru and DJ,  Philip Bena is returning again to coordinate the performers music and sound system needs.

Saturday, October 5th

  • 11:00 am Cross Culture International Dance Ensemble – Members of Holy Cross Orthodox Church, Linthicum, MD, perform songs and dances from around the world, including Greece, Russia, and Bulgaria.
  • 12:30 Misako Ballet – Classical ballet and Japanese-themed performances
  • 1:00 pm Back Step Cindy and Step Jam – Traditional American Appalachian music and dance, with influences from the traditions of the British Isles, Africa, and Native American cultures
  • 2:00 pm US Jow Ga Martial Arts – Traditional Southern-style Chinese Lion dance and Jow Ga Kung Fu
  • 3:00 pm Carpathia – Folk dances of Eastern Europe
  • 4:00 pm BossAmigos – Bossa Nova rhythms in Latin and Brazilian traditions
  • 5:00 pm Meki’s Tamure – Polynesian and South Pacific cultural dance
  • 6:00 pm Wiślanie Polish Folk Song and Dance Ensemble – Polish Folk troupe

Zephyrs and Flora – will be playing in the church entrance on Saturday, October 6 from 12 – 5 pm. Their repertoire includes music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and the Baroque eras, as well as folk music from countries around the world, and religious music of Europe and America.

Sunday, October 6th

  • 11:45 – 12:30 pm Andreea Rebaltescu-Coca – Performing traditional Romanian folk songs
  • 12:30 pm Baltimore Klezmer Orchestra – Community-based orchestra playing Jewish Klezmer music from around the world.
  • 1:30 pm Teelin Irish Dance Company – School of Irish dance
  • 2:00 pm Arte Flamenco – Authentic Spanish Flamenco dances with live music
  • 3:00 pm Bailles de Mi Tierra – Mexican music and folk dance
  • 4:00 pm Kalinka Dance Ensemble of Baltimore – Dances of Russia and Central Europe
